Mike Spoor has illustrated more than 300 books and his illustrative style is injected with humour and is very appealing to people of all ages. His work in 'Actively Ageing Workbook¹and 'Talk About Actively Ageing Handbook¹ add fun and character to Alison Ford¹s demonstrations and information. Early in his his career Mike taught in schools and lectured at the Kent Institute of Art & Design, UK. In 1991 he moved with his family to Australia and began illustrating children¹s books professionally. Soon after arriving in Queensland, he was contracted to deliver ceramics workshops throughout Northern Queensland with the Australian Flying Art School and thereafter he visited schools and offered workshops with demonstrations
on illustration, supported by the Government Arts bodies. Since 1996 he has been freelance illustrating in the UK for publishers worldwide. He also lectures in Ceramics and computer modeling with animation and frequently gives demonstrations and workshops in illustration in schools.

Johanna arrived in Australia from Sweden almost 3 years ago to continue her photography and study. Johanna has her own business as a graphic designer and photographer and loving every second of the challange of being in a new country and running a business. Johanna's Australian studies include a Cert IV in Photography, a Cert IV in Design and a Diploma of Graphic Design.

Dale Jones' experience as an orchestral musician has had a profound influence on his songwriting, bringing to him an acute sense for instrumentation and arrangement. Each song is a beautifully woven sonic tapestry. In addition to songwriting Dale has also composed music for film, theatre and small ensembles indicating the broad scope of his musical interests and abilities. Dale Jones’ first public appearance as a singer/songwriter was as a busker on the streets of Melbourne. He later formed the band Strange Days as an avenue for his prodigious output of songs and produced the beautiful album “When Oceans Rise” in 1994. Two more albums followed with the band Night & Day between 1999 and 2002 as well as many live performances which displayed his song’s as the work of a fine, creative musician.
